OREANDA-NEWS. May 07, 2013. Kostyantyn Gryshchenko met with Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed Abraruly, who stays in our country in connection with marking of the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Ukraine through.

The meeting concerned commemoration in 2014 of Days of Culture of Ukraine in Kazakhstan in compliance with an accord of presidents of the two states.

A peculiar attention was paid to erection in the capital of Kazakhstan of a memorial to T.G.Shevchenko, the project of which was approved recently by the State Commission on monuments erection in Kazakhstan. 

The parties gave a positive mark to the signed before the meeting by the Culture Ministers the Action Plan for joint Ukrainian-Kazakhstan celebration of the 200-th anniversary of birth of Taras Shevchenko. 

It was stressed that signing of the mentioned document would give a possibility to clearly coordinate joint actions so that future celebrations of the jubilee of Kobzar could serve strengthening of cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
