Surgutneftegas Commissioned One More Field in Yakutia
OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC "Surgutneftegas" commissioned the Eastern Block of the Talakanskoye oil and gas condensate field in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The Company planned the commissioning of new N.K.Baibakov field in KhMAO-Yugra for June 2013.
In April 2013, being well ahead of the schedule, specified in the licensing agreement for subsoil use, OJSC "Surgutneftegas" commissioned the fifth field in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – the Eastern Block of the Talakanskoye oil and gas condensate field (due to the results of exploration activities the production geological association "Lenaneftegasgeologia" was established in 1984). The proved C1 and C2 recoverable reserves of the block amounted to 19.55 million tonnes, and gas reserves amounted to 29.16 billion cubic meters
The company actively develops N.K.Baibakov field in KhMAO-Yugra, discovered by OJSC "Surgutneftegas" in 2010, and the commissioning of which is planned for June of the current year, that is also well ahead of the schedule, specified in the licensing agreement for subsoil use. The proved C1 and C2 reserves of the field amounted to 5.05 million tonnes.
In N.K.Baibakov field the power supply lines were constructed. By June of the current year, it is planned to complete the construction of oil and gas pipelines, objects in the sites, including a booster-pump station, a cluster-pump station and objects of production service. By now the first exploratory well is drilled.
Significant scope of geological exploration and enhancement oil recovery projects of OJSC "Surgutneftegas" resulted in double growth of C1 recoverable oil reserves (124 million tonnes) to the annual production level (61.4 million tonnes).
In the current year, OJSC "Surgutneftegas" has plans to replace mineral reserves on the basis of exploration works and participation in auction for acquisition of new promising areas in Western and Eastern Siberia and Timano-Pechora.
