OREANDA-NEWS. Saint-Petersburg hosted 17th European Symposium on Enhanced Oil Recovery under the slogan "From fundamental science to development of the fields".

At the symposium scientific centers of leading world and national oil and gas companies and the biggest scientific universities and institutes of Europe and the USA presented their reports.

At the invitation of organizing committee of the symposium General Director of "VNIIneft" JSC Kryanev D. presented the report "Application of methods of oil recovery in Russia". The report aroused much interest and sparked a lively discussion.
