OREANDA-NEWS. The EUROCEMENT Group, the largest supplier of construction materials in the CIS, has presented brands of cement produced by the Holding that were awarded “Platinum” and “Golden” Quality Prizes of the leading Russian ratings at the annual exhibition MosBuild-2013. Visitors of the exhibition were introduced into the latest development of the Holding in the field of “green” eco-friendly cement and concrete used in the residential, industrial and infrastructure constructions.

Today the production capacities of the EUROCEMENT Group allow it to meet demand in top quality cement of actually any global project, regardless of its complexity and scope. Our cement was used to build sport facilities for 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, stadiums and related infrastructure, that will be used during 2018 World Football Championship, including the Spartak stadium. The production output of the Holding allows for the construction of 100 mln m2of residential space, 20.000 km of highways, 67 mln m2of industrial infrastructure annually. Mikhael Skorokhod, President of the EUROCEMENT Group, points out that the number of customers of the Holding is about 300 million people.

The EUROCEMENT Group exhibition stand, which was decorated in urban style and located in the center of the Forum Exhibition Complex at Krasnaya Presnya Expocenter, demonstrated cement brands of the Holding that were awarded the highest prizes of the Russian exhibitions and contests. The products of the Russian enterprises of the Holding won a Platinum Quality Mark at the International Exhibition (Contest) “All-Russian Brand (3rd Millennium)”, XXI Century Quality Mark and diplomas of the contest “100 Best Products of Russia”.

Also, within the frames of the exhibition, a new high technology plant in Podgorensky settlement, designed for annual output of 3 mln tons (6 thousand tons of clinker bricks per day) using dry method. The plant uses leading cement industry solutions. In comparison with all other plants producing cement by customary methods, a specific fuel consumption rate of the enterprises is 1.6 times lower, labor efficiency is 3.5 times higher, dust emission is 2.5 times lower than normative parameters of the plants, using traditional production methods.
