Belarus' Farm Output Increased 2.5% yr in Jan-Mar 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ farm output increased 2.5% on the year in January-March 2013 to 14.1 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 1.63 billion at the official exchange rate), a source in the National Statistics Committee told reporters.
Sales of fattened cattle and poultry rose 7.2% on the year in January-March 2013 to 408,500 tonnes, milk output reduced 1.1% to 1.537m tonnes, and egg output went up 1.6% to 824.5 million units.
The value of overdue accounts payable in the agricultural sector stood at Br4.799 trillion (USD 554.763 million) as of March 1, 2013, which accounts for 17.6% of the total value of accounts payable in the country. The total value of overdue accounts payable was 5.8 times as high as overdue accounts receivable as of March 1, 2013.
