Sergey Galitskiy, Magnit’s CEO, offered the following comment regarding Magnit’s most recent achievement on the above information:

“I’m afraid to appear immodest, but for the first time in fifteen years since we opened our first store we are the leader of the food retail by revenue”.

Additionally, OJSC "Magnit" continues to maintain its #1 leadership position in the Russian food retail sector in terms of the following metrics: total number of stores, geographic coverage of Russia, top-line growth rates, profitability margins, and, of course, Magnit remains Russia's most valuable food retailer in terms of its market capitalization.
