OREANDA-NEWS. In the 1st quarter of 2013 JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” transferred 2.9 mln. rubles for measurements to decrease negative impact on environment of the territories adjacent to the port, which is by 12% more than within the same period of the last year.

Funds were transferred for the disposal of consumption and production wastes and for water protection. In particular, within the reporting period monitoring of use of coastal area was carried out, waste water treatment and maintenance of water treatment facilities were carried out.
