Vladivostok Air Expanded Scope of Its EASA Certificate
OREANDA-NEWS. Vladivostok Air was issued an updated revision of Compliance Certificate for maintenance of Airbus and Boeing internationally manufactured aircraft performed as directed by the standards accepted in the European Community.
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) confirmed the status of Aircraft Maintenance Integrated Facilities (ATK) of Vladivostok Air as a Maintenance Repair Organization compliant with EASA Part 145.
Compliant with the updated revision of EASA Maintenance Certificate, Part.145.0391, the ATK of Vladivostok Air will add a new list of internationally manufactured aircraft maintenance operations beginning April 22, 2013 to the existing title to perform line maintenance (up to and including C-check) to incorporate corrective action and assemblies replacement on Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 family with CFM56 engines, A330 with CF-6 engines (up to A-check) in the airports of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.
Vladivostok Air Maintenance Base in Vladivostok Airport was granted the right to perform work on aircraft of international manufacture:
— repair and maintenance of rechargeable batteries;
— repair and maintenance of wheels;
— nondestructive testing of aircraft and engine components.
Vladivostok Air was permitted line maintenance of Boeing 767–200/300/400 aircraft with CF-6 engines and Airbus A330 with Rolls-Royce Trent engines.
Line Maintenance Facility in Khabarovsk Airport may now perform line maintenance of Boeing 767–200/300/400 aircraft with CF-6 engines and Airbus A330 with Rolls-Royce Trent engines.
Certification of the Company in compliance with the above requirements will afford to perform maintenance of internationally-manufactured aircraft registered in the countries covered by the EASA Part-145 countries of the European Union. This Certificate will confirm that Vladivostok Air satisfied requirements to production methods and quality assurance system to provide for high and uniform level of flight safety compliant with EU EASA Rules Part-145.
Pursuant to the Certificate, engineering and technical personnel of the airline is successfully carrying out maintenance of internationally manufactured aircraft for both Vladivostok Air and other air carriers in the airports of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.
Vladivostok Air has every intention to pursue expansion in the domain of quality certified maintenance of international aircraft in flight operations in the airports of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk
At the present time, compliant with the Contract signed between Vladivostok Air, JSC and Aeroflot, JSC, preparation for commencement of line maintenance of Aeroflot fleet in the airports of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk is in its final stages.
