Ukraine to Simplify Requirements for Start of Evaluation Activities
OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2013. The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to amend the current legislation on valuation of property, property rights and professional valuation activities in Ukraine and to simplify the requirements for the start of the evaluation. The bill, which is developed by the Ministry of Justice, was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As the Minister of Justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych noted, the project provides the simplification of requirements for the start of the evaluation. In particular, it is proposed to exclude from the Law "On the assessment of property, property rights and professional valuation activities in Ukraine" position of having to undergo training and obtain a positive recommendation of head of fellowships for receiving of the appraiser's qualifications.
In addition, it is proposed to improve the procedure and cases of assessment; improve the order of the regulation of examination boards and the supervisory board and so on.
Resulting from the adoption of this draft law will be expanded access to the profession of appraiser. In addition, the bill seeks to eliminate the position of the current legislation that created the problematic situation in the market of valuation services.
