Products by Stoylenskaya Niva Are in Final of All-Russian Competition
OREANDA-NEWS. “The best bread of Russia-2013” all-Russian competition got started. According to the results of the preliminary round, 8 samples of breadstuffs of Stoylenskaya Niva AIC are accepted to take part in the final stage of the competition.
“The best bread of Russia” all-Russian competition is held for the second year on. Among the organizers of the event there is the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Bakers’ Union, the editorial office of Rossiyskaya gazeta newspaper and so on.
32 home enterprises presented 86 samples of their products in the year of 2013. All the competing products are divided into two nominations: mixed rye-wheat choux hearth bread and French loaves from wheat flour of superior quality. It is important to say that only those samples of products which are made according to traditional technologies and GOST (State Standards) can take part in the competition.
On the first stage of the competition the closed taste test took place. To assure impartiality of assessment and authenticity of the results the samples of products taking part in the competition were encoded. The competition committee included: V. A. Mezhevikinm the chief of food industry department of the Ministry of Agriculture; V. Y. Chenskikh, the executive director of the Russian Bakers’ Union; O. A. Ilyina, the first deputy principal of the International Industrial Academy, and other experts.
In “Mixed rye-wheat choux bread” nomination three products of Stoylenskaya Niva are accepted to the final stage: Rzhanoy pryany (Znak khleba OJSC, Saratov city), Boyarsky choux bread (Penzenskiy khlebozavod №2 OJSC) and Zavarnoy pryany bread (Kolos OJSC, Belgorod city). In “French loaves from wheat flour of superior quality” nomination the following products entered the second stage of the event: Zolotisty French loaf (Penzenskiy khlebozavod №2 OJSC), Nareznoy French loaf (Khlebopek CJSC, Smolensk city), Nareznoy French loaf (Pereslavskiy khlebozavod CJSC, Yaroslavl region), Muromskiy French loaf (Vyksunskiy khleb CJSC, Nizhniy Novgorod region) and Pektinovy French loaf (Kolos OJSC, Belgorod city).
The winners of “The best bread of Russia-2013” competition will be defined during “The people’s taste test” which is going to take place from the 23-rd till the 27-th of April in Moscow and will coincide with the 19-th international exhibition named “Modern breadbaking-2013”.
The breadstuffs which pass the preliminary stage will be exposed in the special mount of “Modern breadbaking-2013” exhibition in Expocenter.
