Number of Participants in Uniastrum Bank Privilege Program Reaches 1,5
OREANDA-NEWS. In the first quarter of 2013 the number of special offers available to Uniastrum cardholders increased 50%, making a current total of 1,538
Discounts available under the Uniastrum card privilege program also increased, some reaching as much as 40% off regular prices. Cardholders enjoy reductions on a wide range of products and services, including, among others, clothes and footwear, fitness clubs, healthcare, tourism, restaurants, and gifts, making a Uniastrum card in many cases a handy alternative to a discount card. Besides markdowns and special offers, the privilege program covers numerous other services: for instance, the program website can be used to reserve a table at restaurants or cafes providing discounts for Uniastrum cardholders. The program currently runs in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Rostov-on-Don, Tomsk, Saratov, and Ufa. In the course of the year other regions are to be included in the program.

Uniastrum’s new card range consists of the Standard, Corporative, Trusted Partner, Exclusive and Express cards, each of which combines the functions of a credit and income-earning card and, while allowing holders to access their credited funds, also enables them to save and accumulate cash. All cardholders can hook up free to the online service 1Bank, and no fee is charged for Internet banking.
“In 2012 the card market grew dramatically as more and more bank customers realized the obvious benefits to be gained from using credit cards as compared with more usual forms of consumer credit, and this has naturally translated into bigger supply and demand,” says Susanna Uzunyan, Head of Uniastrum’s Retail Products Design and Development Division. “We are continuing to extend our card range and this year will be debuting a variety of new options on our existing cards, as well as a number of entirely new products.”
