Rusatom Overseas Is Looking for New Partners in Hungary
OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Rusatom Overseas organized a seminar in Budapest on April 25, 2013 for Hungarian enterprises - potential suppliers of equipment and services for the projects of the State Corporation Rosatom (ROSATOM).
Participants had the opportunity to get up to date information about the current development of Russian nuclear industry, learn more about ROSATOM’s projects in traditional and alternative energy and about the experience of cooperation between Ganz and ROSATOM and the possibilities for the localization of ROSATOM’s projects.
More than 150 Hungarian companies representing the construction, consulting, engineering and equipment manufacturing for power plants attended the seminar, including such as “MVM”, “Siemens”, “KPMG”, “Pinter Muvek”, “Csepl Holding Nyrt”, “OLAJTERV Csoport”.
Boris Arseev, executive vice-president of Rusatom Overseas noted that the company currently estimates the potential for cooperation not only in the field of nuclear energy. “We are interested in the development of projects both in traditional and alternative energy, including wind power. We also would like to offer Hungarian market equipment for thermal power plants. Now we assess the possibility of implementing projects in various fields using responsible approach to the choice of partners. We are ready to involve Hungarian suppliers not only in our projects in Hungary and the CEE countries, but also in the projects of ROSATOM worldwide”.
According to the vice-president of Rusatom Overseas Ivo Koulik, in case of tender announcement by Hungarian government for the construction of Units 5 and 6 of Paks NPP, ROSATOM will prepare its proposal. ROSATOM is ready to attract maximum number of local manufacturers to participate in the project, as well as to provide the necessary transfer of technologies. According to preliminary estimates, the percentage of localization can be no less than 30%.
