OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2013. An official delegation paid an inspection tour to the Precision Forging Industry Base of the 22nd China Metallurgical Construction Group (22MCC Group).

The delegation was headed by Jiang Deguo, Vice Governor of Hebei Province & Secretary of CPC Tangshan Municipal Committee. Chairman Li Yulong, Vice Chairman Wei Huawen and Vice General Manager He Zhiqiang of 22MCC Group accompanied the delegation during the inspection.

Jiang and his delegation members visited the Precision Forging Workshop, learned the development history of Precision Forging Industry of 22MCC Group. They were debriefed by Chairman Li Yulong and General Manager Feng Enqing on the establishment and project execution progress of the forging industry, and also inspected the production procedure and products of China’s first multi-way die forging hydraulic press (40MN), and the winding operation undertaken by the rack robot of the multi-way die forging hydraulic press (120MN).

Jiang Deguo placed a high premium on the establishment, production and development prospect of the first and national-advanced Precision Forging Industry Base in Hebei Province, and promised that the local government of Tangshan City would spare no efforts in providing support for the growth of this Hi-tech industry and offering quality services for the technical innovation.

The Precision Forging Industry Base of 22MCC Group is located in the Hi-tech Industrial Park of Tangshan City, covering a total land area of 420 mu (1 mu is equivalent to 666.7 square meters), and will be mainly utilized for R&D and production large-size multi-way die forging articles and heavy equipment.

The forging articles include: precision forgings of large-diameter high-temperature and high-pressure valve body; oil wellhead forgings; and T-branch pipe for ultra supercritical thermal power high-temperature and high-pressure pipeline. The heavy machines include: die-forging hydraulic press; free forging hydraulic press; isothermal forging hydraulic press; plate-molding hydraulic machine; and extruder.
