OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) investigated a petition of the Union of Producers of Alcohol Products that the Governor of the Samara region, Mr Merkushkin, placed a message on the official web-site of the Government of the Samara region, which may contain signs of violating the antimonopoly law.

Based on the investigation results, FAS sent a letter to the Governor of the Samara region, pointing out at impermissibility of appeals to form a monopoly of regional producers and creating discriminatory conditions with regard to the alcohol products made outside the Samara region.
