OREANDA-NEWS. As we have reported earlier, the agricultural holding KSG Agro has successfully completed the first stage of its spring field works involving early sowing of cereals and oilseeds.

The company’s fields have been sown with spring barley on over 2,200 hectares, oilseed flax on approximately 2,000 hectares and spring rape on almost 1,000 hectares. The company has also commenced the sowing of late-sown spring crops.

All winter crops are in excellent shape. This year’s winter crops cover more than 45,000 hectares, of which 23,800 hectares are sown with wheat, 15,400 hectares with rape and 6,300 hectares with barley.

The total area of KSG Agro’s arable land is approximately 92,000 hectares.
