UTair Opens New Business Lounge at Vnukovo Airport
OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation and UTG Aviation Services, the airline’s partner for ground services, have opened a brand new business lounge in Terminal A at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow for the convenience of passengers. The lounge is located in the domestic flights departure zone.
UTair passengers flying business class within Russia are welcome to make use of the lounge for free. Other UTair passengers are welcome for a nominal fee.
The new business lounge provides amenities that allow guests to spend their time before flight in comfort. The lounge has a special business zone equipped with PCs, printer, scanner and fax; a meeting room with multi-media communication system; a cloakroom and a shower. Passengers visiting the lounge will be provided with a personal care kit upon request. A hot-lunch buffet will be available 24 hours a day.
The lounge has been designed with a modern interior in warm natural colors intended to maximize comfort and tranquility in the often hectic airport environment. It is furnished with soft leather sofas and tables in the rest zone and with comfortable armchairs in the fireplace room. Lighting in the dining zone is programmed to imitate natural lighting that changes over the course of the day.
UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2012 UTair aircraft transported 8,582,681 passengers. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and aboard. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs 100 flights daily.
UTG Aviation Services partners with more than 25 Russian and foreign carriers and serves more than 65,000 flights annually. Today the company’s staff numbers is over 1000 aircraft industry professionals. UTG Aviation Services is the first handling operator in Russia with a license from the Federal Air Transport Agency for ground services and is actively developing its ground service operations.
