OREANDA-NEWS. The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO announces that the SKOLKOVO Students and Alumni Advisory Board has been created and started its work. The Advisory Board is to become the key management body of the SKOLKOVO Students and Alumni Association. In the course of its work it will pursue the following goals: organization of effective communication between the SKOLKOVO business school’s students and graduates, elaboration of the Association’s events plan, coordination of the alumni clubs, attraction of resources for implementation of students’ initiatives.

13 SKOLKOVO MBA and Executive MBA representatives, who have already finished their studying or crossed a programme's equator, form the SKOLKOVO Students and Alumni Advisory Board. The Advisory Board’s members have been elected by force of a vote in each class.

Last week the first meeting of the SKOLKOVO Students and Alumni Advisory Board took place, where Denis Ryzhov, SKOLKOVO EMBA-6 graduate, was elected the Chairman of the Advisory Board.

"I believe that the Association’s key goals are to position and promote the business school in Russia and around the world as a centre of leadership, innovations and communication platform for active and successful people inspired by the SKOLKOVO culture and spirit, unite students and graduated of all intakes, develop and strengthen bonds with the business school, create an independent community inside the SKOLKOVO business school which would transmit its priorities and values", Denis Ryzhov comments.

And today the Advisory Board has to face to core challenges – to plan activity directions of the SKOLKOVO business school students and graduates and develop and introduce regulations of the SKOLKOVO Students and Alumni Association.

Another Advisory Board’s meeting is set for April 18. The approved development plan of the SKOLKOVO Students and Alumni Association will be distributed among all students and graduates together with an offer to join working groups on implementation of a certain activity direction.
