The report sums up the major results of the national competition policy, analyzes the most significant changes in the law, gives expert estimates of the state of competition, presents the findings of studies of some sectors of the economy and certain markets, as well as discusses the main problems and proposals towards developing competition.

Preparing the report on the state of competition, FAS fully takes into account the opinions of the largest entrepreneurial associations of Russia, non-government and non-commercial organizations.

“At the beginning of 2013 we agreed with Russian associations of entrepreneurs on the angle of the report. Since then we have had several discussions. Today we have reached the final stage of report preparation, so we ask all drafters to make comments and proposals on the prepared draft”, commented the Head of FAS Analytical Department, Alexei Sushkevich. In case of disagreements with some opinions, we will reflect them in the report and substantiate why the Federal Anti monopoly Service does not share this particular opinion”.

On 29 April 2013, the extended session of the Methodological Council of FAS Russia with non-governmental associations of entrepreneurs will discuss the full text of the report, which then will be submitted to the Government for consideration in view of the proposals and recommendations.
