OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Belarus plans to launch 126 innovative production projects (including 68 top-priority projects) in 2013 within the framework of the government’s 2011-2015 innovative development programme.

Chairman of the Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology Igor Votiov aired a message to this effect at the board meeting of the Belarusian government, the government’s press-service reports.

All in all, Belarus invested Br18 trillion (USD 2 billion) in innovative development in 2012, Voitov informed.

The programme yielded Br30.6 trillion (USD 3.55bn) worth of innovative products in 2012.

At the same time, according to Voitov, Belarus failed or postponed the fulfillment of 6 top-priority projects in 2012.
