OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2013. Citi Russia announces the launch of the Citibank® for iPad application, which is a new addition to the bank’s existing remote banking channels (internet banking through Citibank® Online and mobile banking through Citi Mobile®). This application enables clients to conduct basic banking transactions on their iPads wherever there is an Internet connection.

Using Citibank® for iPad clients can view account information, including latest transactions; view account charts enabling the easy monitoring of cash movements; make free ruble transfers to accounts at Citibank or other banks; transfer and convert funds between your accounts, and transfer foreign currency to accounts with other Russian banks; pay Internet, mobile, utility and other bills instantly without a surcharge. Moreover, the application can be used to find the nearest Citibank ATM, branch, Citigold® center, Elecsnet payment terminal or partner merchants that offer discounts on Citibank cards; to browse Citibank products and services and apply online for the products selected.

“Remote service channels and related innovative technologies are among of our highest priorities and we are paying a lot of attention to this area. Last year we wrapped up the development of a new interface for Citibank Online, adding a number of new functions, and we also launched the Citi Mobile application for mobile banking on smartphones running Android and iOS. Last year the number of Citi Mobile users increased by threefold,” noted Evgeny Loktev, E-Banking Head at Citibank. “We are striving to make Citibank® for iPad as convenient as possible for our clients and we hope that they will fully appreciate the advantages of this application.”

In order to find the application in the App Store, enter Citibank RU into the search field. To sign on to Citibank® for iPad, you will need to enter the User ID and Password that you use for Citibank® Online and/or Citi Mobile® and the one-time password automatically sent as a flash SMS to your mobile phone number that we have on our records.
