OREANDA-NEWS. "Expert RA" rating agency confirmed ‘Astro-Volga’ Insurance Company (based in Samara) reliability rating B++, which means acceptable reliability. The rating outlook was changed from stable to developing, which means high probability of changing the rating in the mid-term, with three scenarios being equally probable: rating downgrading, maintenance or upgrading.

High liquidity ratios, low ratios of receivables and payables to assets, the low operating costs as well as the high contract renewal rates in motor insurance and corporate property insurance were highlighted among positive factors for the Company’s financial stability.

Such factors as low diversification and low reliability of reinsurance coverage, high relative undertaken risks and high reliance on the major customers do not allow assigning a higher rating.
