OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2013. Targeting implementation of order of the President of Ukraine № 127 “On the decision of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine of March 12, 2013 “About urgent measures directed to ensure European integration of Ukraine” the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine in synergy with the concerned central executive authorities and organizations elaborated the Action Plan on activization of cooperation between Ukraine and European Union in energy area for 2013 which was approved at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The mentioned action plan takes into account principal provisions of the Seventh joint Ukraine-EU report with regards to implementation of a Memorandum between Ukraine and the European Union on mutual understanding concerning cooperation in energy area and also Protocol of conclusions of a meeting of Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Eduard Stavytskyi and EU Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger dated February 21, 2013.

It should be noted that the mentioned Action plan envisages stirring up cooperation between Ukraine and EU along principal lines in energy domain.
