OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2013. In 2013, the government will do everything to increase salaries of medical workers at least by 10%. It was stated by the President in the course of the opening of the reconstructed department of Vinnytsia regional clinical oncology center.

“In dispensary, the salary of doctors has been raised to 3 000 UAH, nurses – to 2 5000 UAH. It is not enough. We will do everything for it to be raised at least by 10% in 2013,” the Head of State said. He reminded that average salary in the sphere of health care had been raised by 24% in 2012.

The President reminded that the state would further do everything necessary to increase the level of life and social protection of medical workers.

The Head of State stressed that respective steps had been made in the framework of medical reform. “We have created new stimuli for family and district doctors: the more and better you work, the more you receive,” Viktor Yanukovych noted.
