OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2013. The Cbonds Agency has published its traditional series of rankings of investment banks ranged according to their performance during the first quarter of 2013, with Sviaz-Bank still among the Top 10 lead managers and underwriters of bond issues.

The agency put Sviaz-Bank in ninth place, with a total manager quota of 9 billion rubles, in the ranking of corporate sector lead managers. The Bank only placed 12th through last year.

As of April 1, 2013, Sviaz-Bank placed seventh among investment banks managing ruble-denominated bond issues in the corporate sector (less banks and financial institutions).

The Cbonds Agency’s rankings of managers and underwriters convey the sense of investment banks’ activism in the primary bond market in terms of amounts of bonds placed and the number of issues offered, consideration being only given to issues intended for offering to a broad spectrum of investors.
