Bashneft Announced New Chief Financial Officer
OREANDA-NEWS. At the meeting held by absentee voting on April 12, Bashneft’s Board of Directors approved the appointment of Denis Stankevich to the position of Vice-President for Economics and Finance and Chief Financial Officer and included Mr. Stankevich in the Company’s Management Board.
The Board of Directors also decided to increase the membership of the Management Board to 15 members and included Oleg Mikhaylov, the Vice-President for Oil and Gas Production, in it.
Denis Stankevich was born on December 10, 1974. He is a graduate of Udmurt State University; in 1997, he got a degree in Applied Mathematics in the Faculty of Mathematics, and in 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics with a degree in Finance and Credit. In 1997–1999 Mr. Stankevich worked for the Ural Trust Bank. From 1999 through 2004 he headed the Economics and Finance Department of OJSC Belkamneft. In 2004–2009 Mr. Stankevich held the position of General Director of OJSC ASPEC. Since May 2009 he has been the Financial Director for Refining and Commerce of JSOC Bashneft.
