OREANDA-NEWS. CV Protek was recognized the "Most influential pharmaceutical distributor of 2012" and gained the lead in the ranking of individual entities’ influence on the Russia’s pharmaceutical market in 2012 published by the Pharmaceutical Reporter. Also, in the "Most influential business men, heads of business structures" nomination the first place was due to Vadim Sergeyevich Yakunin, the chairman of the JSC Protek Board.

Expert board which decided the winner comprised 850 persons, traditionally representing 6 expert groups: scientists, public officials, representatives of local pharmaceutical products producers, representatives of foreign pharmaceutical products producers, distributors, as well as pharmacy directors.

As the Pharmaceutical Reporter notes: "In most cases position of any particular entity in the ranking is not just the result of its activity during the last year, but also the aggregate result of all previous years of operation in the Russian pharmaceuticals market captured as of a certain point of time."
