OREANDA-NEWS.  Branch of the European Bureau (Moscow) of Transsib Re has paid USD 365 ths of reinsurance indemnity insurance company of the "Russian Insurance Centre" (Moscow). The payment was made under the contract of reinsurance of motor hull insurance of aircraft for the death of a helicopter Augusta. Reinsurance Treaty was concluded through a broker - AON Rus - Insurance brokers.

During the flight 06 April 2012 in the vicinity of St. Petersburg in conditions of limited visibility the crew of the helicopter Augusta lost control of a height of and in execution of a manoeuvre collided with the surface of a frozen lake. Hitting the ice, the helicopter has received significant damage (full constructive loss).

This event was recognized as the insured. The amount of the loss by the share of Transsib Re has made RUB 11.5 million or USD 365 ths.
