OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2013. At a conference of the World Bank dedicated to land issues head of the State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine Serhiy Tymchenko has presented results of introduction of the State Land Cadastre in Ukraine.

In the context of the mentioned topic participants of the world forum discussed results of introducing a system of State Land Cadastre in Ukraine and experience exchange. In particular, the head of the land department accentuated in his speech on creating software and information support, briefed about an order of filling of the State Land Cadastre, access to the public cadastre map of Ukraine etc.

Experts highly evaluated the breakthrough which over recent years had been made by Ukrainian specialists in creating of the State Land Cadastre. With the view to the achievements in development of land relations Ukraine was paid a peculiar attention during the conference – the experts analyzed the state of matters concerning creation of the land cadastre in three speeches. Notably, the participants confirmed high speed of works carried out on huge territories for several years. The World Bank experts paid a peculiar attention to the public cadastre portal and feedback function as a modern effective mechanism of improvement of quality of geospatial data.

“Achievements in creating of the cadastre project afford to speak with confidence that Ukraine enters with optimism in negotiations with the World Bank concerning an opportunity of introduction of a new project in land relations, which is development of infrastructure of geospatial data,” Serhiy Tymchenko summed up.
