OREANDA-NEWS. Director of Vale Austria, Werner Streibl, Vice Dean Fatima Ferreira-Briza, teacher Eloide Kilp and Ambassador Evandro Didonet meet in Vienna

Vale will soon be offering scholarships to Brazilian students who wish to study abroad through the federal government’s Science without Borders program. Up to 1,000 undergraduate, doctorate, and post-doctorate scholarships will be granted to candidates interested in conducting research into one of our company’s areas of interest.

In order to strengthen the participation of Austrian institutions in this exchange program, the director of Vale Austria and representatives from the University of Salzburg met last month with the country’s new Brazilian ambassador, Evandro Didonet. The governments of the two countries are due to sign a treaty in Brasilia (Brazil) and establish agreements with the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel (Capes) program and the University of Salzburg (Geophysics, Geoinformatics, and Materials Science) and the University of Leoben (Mining and Metallurgy).
