OREANDA-NEWS. HRT Participates em Petroleo S.A. (the “Company” or “HRT”) (BM&FBOVESPA: HRTP3, TSX-V: HRP) in compliance with the provisions of Article 12 of CVM Instruction 358/02, informs the acceptance, on April 05, 2013, of the letter from Discovery Capital Management, LLC, on behalf of Discovery Global Citizens America LLC, Discovery Global Focus America LLC e Discovery Global Opportunity America LLC, which are managed by Discovery Capital Management LLC, informing about the acquisition of common shares issued by HRT, reaching 18,081,997 common shares, which represents approximately 6.105% of the total common shares issued by the Company.

According to the information provided in the referred letter, the purpose of the above mentioned equity holdings is strictly of investment, and there is no current plan to change the control composition or the administrative structure of the Company.

Additionally, the investors informed that they do not hold and are not aware of any person connected thereto that holds any convertible debentures, subscription bonus, shares subscription rights or options to purchase shares issued by the Company, as well as that no agreement or contract regulating the exercise of voting rights or the purchase and sale of securities issued by the Company were executed by the investors.
