OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2013. Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov held a telephone conference on the issues of realization of the President’s instructions given at the meeting of the Entrepreneurs’ Council.

According to First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Regional Development Bakytzhan Sagintayev, all the instructions are divided in three blocks: strategic tasks, new strategic directions, institutional measures on entrepreneurship development.

The Government and “Atameken” Union were urged to adopt a joint action plan on promotion and protection of Kazakh producers’ interests within the framework of the Single Economic Space and WTO.

“To analyze the work of local executive bodies the National Economic Chamber “Atameken” Union” will develop a new rating called “Business Climate” to be published in the media,” Sagintayev said.

The Ministry of Regional Development was charged to carry out the rating and publish its results until September.

Before the end of this year the Government is to develop a draft law "On electronic commerce", as well as a sectorial plan on development of online trade in Kazakhstan designed for five years. The task is imposed upon the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning.

As the chairman of the board of “Atameken" Union Ablay Myrzakhmetov said, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs is ready for a dialogue and joint work on all issues.

"The Head of State stressed that Kazakhstan's business is entering a new stage increasing the responsibility of entrepreneurs for the stable growth of the economy. In this regard, the President decided to transform the Entrepreneurs’ Council to the Board of National Investors," Serik Akhmetov emphasized.

He noted that all government support measures developed in previous years would be further continued and improved.

In addition, the Prime Minister urged to expedite the introduction of the draft law on the National Chamber to the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament.

He instructed all relevant state agencies to immediately proceed to the execution of the President’s tasks.

"The future of the domestic business depends on the results of implementation of the President’s instructions," the Head of the Cabinet concluded.
