OREANDA-NEWS. Over 2013’s Quarter 1, the stevedoring companies of Ust-Luga Merchant Sea Port transshipped 13,442,736.176 tons of various cargos that was 1.8 times more than over the same period last year.

 The Port’s turnover in March reached 4,919,841.334 tons, thus exceeding the figures of 2012 by factor of 1.8 too.

 The car transshipment volume over three months amounted to 43,102 pcs., thus keeping the level of 2012.

 Over Quarter 1, the Port handled the total of 126,044 railway cars that was 15% more than in 2012.

 In 2012, Ust-Luga Port transshipped 46,612,449.255 tons of various cargos and 167,380 cars. When working at full capacity, the Port is expected to transship 180 mln. tons of cargos.
