OREANDA-NEWS. SOLLERS-ISUZU CJSC started the production of a new ISUZU NQR90 chassis with a payload of 6.6 tons. In terms of payload, the NQR90 is the top model in the ISUZU new generation 700P N-Series that are assembled at the production facility of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

The 9.5-ton truck is equipped with a 155 hp Euro-4 engine. The functional characteristics and comfort of the driver's cabin have been improved as compared to the predecessor models. The universal frame allows for installation of a wide range of body attachments and conversions for various applications. The technical characteristics of the model also allow for its use with a trailer with a gross weight of 13 tons.

Due to its advanced consumer properties and a payload of 6–7 tons (which is in high demand on the Russian market), the NQR90 model is expected to become one of the most popular in its segment. The production plan for 2013 includes 474 NQR 90 chassis.

We also remind you that the production of Japanese chassis at the facilities of UAZ OJSC was resumed in May 2012 after the closure of the production in Elabuga. The range of ISUZU models produced in Ulyanovsk currently includes models with a payload from 1.5 to 6.6 tons. In 2012, the Joint Venture produced 1,596 N-Series chassis. The most popular were the models with a payload of 5 tons.
