OREANDA-NEWS. National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) felicitated chess player Debashis Das and woman cricketer Roshnara Parwin, to mark the Utkal Divas celebrations, at Nalconagar here yesterday. Debashis has bagged gold medals in World Youth Chess Championship and Asian Youth Chess Championship, while Roshnara has played for India in the recently held Women’s World Cup Cricket.

Shri Ansuman Das, CMD of NALCO in the presence of Shri B.L. Bagra, Director (Finance), Shri S.S. Mahapatra, Director (Production), Shri N.R. Mohanty, Director (P&T), Shri S.C. Padhy, Director (HR), Shri P.C. Panigrahi, Executive Director (H&A) and Shri P.C. Sethy, MLA and Former Nalconian, handed over a memento and a cheque of Rs.10,000/ to each awardee. The company has been felicitating upcoming sportspersons of Odisha every year on the occasion of Utkal Divas.
