OREANDA-NEWS. Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia, met with representatives of the Russian company RusHydro on working visit in Georgia. The delegation is headed by Giorgi Rizhinashvili, RusHydro Deputy Chairman of Board.

Representatives of RusHydro took interest of hydro-resource of Georgia. A task force will be set up for support at preparation of the hydro-projects.

Alongside, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia will regularly report to the Company on every potential project considered by the Government as a priority one.

In frames of the visit, the delegation will meet with Giorgi Bachiashvili, Deputy Executive Director of the JSC Partnership Fund, and Sulkhan Zumburidze, Chairman of Board of the Georgian Electrosystem (GSE).

The visit has been organized by the National Investment Agency of Georgia and JSC Partnership Fund.

Russian Company RusHydro is the second biggest world company that owns HPPs. Design capacity of its over 60 HPPs makes 35 GW. -0-
