OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2013. TATNEFT took part in the XVI-th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies "Archimedes - 2013." The engineering developments and inventions of the Company received six gold, five silver and six bronze medals.

Gold medals of the international contest were awarded for three engineering developments of TatNIPIneft: "Crude oil hot separation technology to provide own fuel gas for the units", "Installation for the dual completion and operation of 3 layers" and "Whipstock for drilling sidetrack wellbores from the well".

Gold medals were also awarded for the following inventions of NGDU "Almetyevneft": for "Package of technologies in wells construction during penetration through the Verey horizon"; NGDU "Yelkhovneft": for "Horizontal well operation method" and "NGDU Leninogorskneft": for "Method of oil deposits development".

Silver medals were awarded for engineering developments "Well construction method" - NGDU "Almetyevneft"; "Oil field cross-hole intervals monitoring method" - NGDU "Aznakaevskneft"; "Method of multi-target oil field development" - NGDU "Jalilneft"; "Well operation method" - NGDU "Nurlatneft" and "Method for controlling oil reservoirs flood front"- TatNIPIneft.

Bronze medals were awarded to the following engineering developments: "Well cluster construction method" of NGDU "Almetyevneft"; "Way of limiting formation water inflow to the production well" of NGDU "Aznakaevskneft"; "Well completion method of controlled depression" (OSMUD) of NGDU "Bavlyneft"; "Way of equipment delivery to the horizontal or inclined wellbore" of NGDU" Nurlatneft"; "Solidphase blend for hydrogen disulfide neutralization" of NGDU "Yamashneft" and "Installation for separation and treatment of water produced with oil" of TatNIPIneft.

The company's engineering developments presented were highly commended by the international jury of the Salon and numerous visitors of the exhibition.

JSC TATNEFT was awarded a medal and Diploma of the Croatian Union of Inventors "For active and effective work in promoting intellectual property".

TATNEFT has participated in the Salon "Archimedes" since 2001 and many of the Company's engineering developments are highly appraised every year.

Representatives of 16 countries: Bulgaria, Italy, Israel, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Latvia, Malaysia, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Croatia, Taiwan and Turkey have participated in the Salon "Archimedes-2013" this year and have demonstrated 233 inventions and innovative products. Representatives from more than 50 regions of the Russian Federation have presented about 800 intellectual property assets at the exhibition.
