Siderperu Provides 2.4 Thousand Tons of Steel for Wind Farms in Peru
OREANDA-NEWS. Siderperu, Gerdau’s operation in Peru, will supply 2.4 thousand tons of steel for the construction of the wind farms in Cupusnique and Talara, the first in that country. The Cupusnique Wind Farm will have 45 wind generators, and the Talara Wind Farm, 17. Their construction will make Peru one of the largest wind power producers in South America. The total installed capacity of the two farms will be 114 megawatts.
