OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2013. Targeting implementation of a task to increase production of grain up to 80 mln tons, technical cultures – up to 15 tons in the course of 5 years, the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine needs system year-on-year renovation. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov accentuated in the process of a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“In the nearest 5 years we plan to increase production of grain up to 80 million tons, technical cultures – up to 15 million tons. For implementation of this task agroindustrial complex of Ukraine needs annual system renovation of almost 7.5 thousand of grain harvesters, 35 thousand of tractors of various types, over 2.5 thousand of combine seed drills,” Mykola Azarov informed.
He reminded that the day before he had had a meeting to discuss organization of production of national agricultural equipment during which it was stressed there existed the need to stir up industry and use all possible instruments: budget financing, encouraging investments, state and private partnership. 

“Tax incentives have already been created by us. Priorities have been determined in the program of economic development. Now we need well-coordinated, target work of authorities, enterprises and banks concerning concrete projects of improvement of industry,” Mykola Azarov explained.
