Russian Regional Companies Are Focused on Trainings, PwC
OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2013. PwC Russia presents the results of HR-Barometer 2013, a regional survey of key trends in HR management. One hundred and eighty-three companies, representing various industries, participated in this year's survey.
This time, we focused on key aspects of HR management in various cities and regions across Russia, except for the City of Moscow. The survey covers such areas as recruitment, remuneration, and learning and development (staff training).
The survey did not show any significant differences between Moscow-based companies and their regional peers in the HR data analysed. However, in general, regional companies are less likely to make dramatic increases in employee salaries. At the same time, such companies face major difficulties in recruiting and retaining qualified staff due to the outflow of personnel to the cities of Moscow and St Petersburg.
