OREANDA-NEWS. On April 10, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev met with Dr. Martin Lindner, the member of Bundestag and liberal Free Democrats Party(FDP).

Mr Abdullayev noted that such visits play an important role in the development of bilateral and interparliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and Germany. As the guest stated, Azerbaijan is a civilized and democratic country appreciating European values. Besides, German MP highly assessed the role of Azerbaijan in energy security of Europe. In turn, SOCAR President informed the guest about the course of the projects related to the energy supply of Europe. During the meeting, the sides discussed other issues of mutual interest.
