OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2013. MEGABANK and the European Business Association held a panel discussion for business representatives on "Financing modernization and energy saving projects".

According to Peter Lashin, the Deputy Chairman of the bank, funds for financing programs are allocated within the bank’s cooperation with "GGF Southeast Europe" (GGF). According to him those are target consumer loans to be provided for replacing old or setting new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in private buildings. Insulation projects (changing windows and doors, making coldproof walls etc.) are also possible. "Within two weeks we are going to present a project to public. We are interested in everything that may help in energy saving", said Peter Lashin.

According to him a loan amount within the program is limited by UAH 3 million, the loan is provided for maximum 5 years. "But these terms are rather applicable to business projects. As for home owners amounts and terms will be less- we are going to credit individuals for one or two years. In this case the term can be more if expensive equipment is being bought. The advantage of our crediting in particular is that in case of necessity the borrower may have a free consultation from GGF technical experts: they are ready to come and analyze a project anytime", emphasized the Deputy Chairman of MEGABANK.

The event was also visited by Mark Lutz, the GGF’s technical assistance project manager, who told about realization of modernization and energy saving projects, and Pavel Rozen, a technical expert of the fund, who presented the project took part in the meeting too.
