OREANDA-NEWS. Fujitsu announces that it has finalized a contract with RunMyProcess (RMP), a France-based cloud service provider, to acquire all shares of RMP. With this acquisition, Fujitsu will add integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) to its cloud offerings to bolster its cloud portfolio as it expands its global cloud business.

RMP, a venture company founded in 2007, offers iPaaS, providing customers of all sizes with the ability to build and deploy new generation business critical applications by integrating and combining existing services and assets from both cloud and on-premise based solutions. The company was previously recognized by Gartner as a "Cool Vendor".

iPaaS is ideal for faster and more cost-effective streamlining and management of cross-organizational business processes, and enables enterprises to leverage services available both in public clouds and on premise by starting small and scale up as required. The integration platform is also gaining popularity with cloud integrators developing best-practice building blocks for repeatable business, and among solution providers looking to the cloud to drive future growth.

RMP has established a new approach to system construction, and already has a track record of more than 300 active projects in 45 countries, and partnerships in 25 countries with a total of 53 cloud integrators. As a result of this acquisition, Fujitsu can offer rapid and flexible support for system construction to customers facing dramatic changes in the business environment.

Additionally, Fujitsu plans to establish the Global Software Center in California's Silicon Valley as the hub of its cloud business. Starting with the RMP's services, Fujitsu will continue to grow its cloud services business and expand its portfolio to further strengthen its cloud business on a global scale.
