Reference is made to the announcement of Angang Steel Company Limited (the “Company”) dated 11 March 2013 (the “Announcement”) with respect to the continuing connected transactions contemplated under the 2014 Supply of Materials and Services Agreement, the 2014 Financial Services Agreement and the 2014 Supply of Materials Agreement. Unless the context otherwise requires, capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement.

As disclosed in the Announcement, a circular containing, among other things, (a) further details of the 2014 Supply of Materials and Services Agreement, the 2014 Financial Services Agreement and the 2014 Supply of Materials Agreement; (b) the letter from the Independent Board Committee; (c) the letter from the independent financial advisor to the Independent Board Committee and the Independent Shareholders; and (d) a notice to convene the Shareholders’ general meeting, was expected to be dispatched to the Shareholders on or before 3 April 2013. As additional time is required to finalize the information to be included in the circular, the Company expects that the dispatch of the circular will be delayed to on or before 16 April 2013.
