OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2013. In Facebook Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov assured that Vuglegirska thermal power plant of Centrenerho company located in Svitlodarsk of Donetsk region would be restored after fire that had occurred on March 29, 2013.

He reminded that a respective decision was approved by the Government and an interdepartmental commission led by Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Eduard Stavytksyi was set up to elucidate the cause of the accident.

“I express sympathy to all residents of Svitlodarsk. This plant is among those few plants that were modernized, so we will restore it, of course,” the head of Government said and added: “Firstly, we will find out why this could have been occurred and those who are responsible for that will answer; secondly, we will take all measures to restore the station and to provide with work those who was working at it (the plant), we will resume heat supply to the town as well”.
