OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow is continuing to develop the service of bank card transfers and has announced launch of the product: "Card-to-card transfer" via its website. The new product allows funds in Russian rubles to be transferred between Visa and MasterCard cards.

The advantage of the new products is that transfers may be made not only between Bank of Moscow cards; the given service may also be used by all holders of Russian bank cards. On the Bank of Moscow, transfers may now be made between the cards of other Russian banks.

In order to make a transfer, all that needs to be provided is the sender’s card number, the expiry date of this card, and the number of recipient’s card. A necessary condition is for the sender’s card to be connected to the 3ds operation security system.

One of the benefits of the service is that no commission is charge for transfers between Bank of Moscow cards and the funds are credited in real time. A transfer may be made at any time of the day or night from any computer with Internet access and from anywhere in the world.

Let us recall that, in December 2012, the Bank of Moscow successfully introduced "Card-to-card transfer" and "Acceptance of funds on to cards of other banks" through ATMs in the Moscow area and, already in February 2013, rolled out these products throughout the entire network of self-service terminals.

"We see major prospects for development of the market for electronic payment and the new product will undoubtedly attract the attention of card holders", commented Stanislav Vavak, Director of the Remote Services and Sales Department of the Bank of Moscow. "By creating convenient conditions for clients, we are providing a quality service and high level of payment security."
