OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data of the association "Ukrautoprom", in March 2013, Ukraine produced 3,223 motor vehicles, which is 59% lower than in March 2012. 

 Production of passenger cars to the same period last year dropped by 58% and amounted to only 2,979 pieces.

 The March production of commercial vehicles was limited to 115 units, which is 68% less than the result of a year ago.

 The volume of production of buses in the first spring month was 129 units, or 56% less, the March 2012 figure.

 In the whole in the first quarter of this year, Ukrainian automobile enterprises produced 6,974 vehicles or by 2.7 times less than in the previous year. Among them:
Passenger cars - 6,434 pcs. (-63.4%);
Commercial vehicles - 244 pcs. (-75.6%);
Buses - 296 pcs. (-48.3%).
