OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2013. Rosneft agreed heads of terms to acquire aviation refueling businesses from Basic Element in the airports of Krasnodar, Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Abakan operated by BASH (Basel Aero Supply and Handling).

The agreement was signed by Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, and Oleg Deripaska, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Basic Element.

“The completion of the transaction will result in Rosneft having own refueling complexes almost in all Russian federal districts. Expansion of the refueling complexes network will ensure the growth of fuel sales through ‘into-plane’ refueling under direct contracts with airlines on the domestic Russian market,” – said Rosneft head Igor Sechin.
