Annual Report Was Discussed with Interested Parties in NIAEP
OREANDA-NEWS. Two dialogues between the interested parties over the company's annual report project for 2012 convened in JSC NIAEP.
For the first time the dialogues were in the mode of video bridge between Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow . The following representatives of the interested parties took part in the discussion- shareholders, partners, procurers, and authority bodies, those of higher educational establishments, the labour collective, representatives of society and mass media bodies.
The dialogues objective is to identify enquires and proposals of the colleagues, partners, authorities and local community over the report data.
In the opening address , Vladimir Kats , Senior Vice - President of Economy and Finance marked out: “We are going to discuss JSC NIAEP's report, yet, in a sense, it is the first annual report of the merged company. Since March 2012 NIAEP is a managing company of JSC Atomstroyexport (JSC ASE). Thus, JSC NIAEP, the leading engineering company of the Russian nuclear industry, and JSC ASE, Russian exporter of NPP construction services, merged their competences.”
The first part of the dialogue was devoted to the subject of “Strategy of the integrated company JSC NIAEP-JSC ASE”. In the report of Ivan Borisov, Vice-President of JSC NIAEP development, a project of transformation and optimization of JSC NIAEP-ASE work was revealed to the dialogue participants. The project is being implemented within the scope of the SC Rosatom strategic aims implementation, where the merged company is assumed with the role of epicenter of the industrial engineering business development. The merged company JSC NIAEP-ASE has six trends of development: a business model, management model, communications and brand, personnel, juridical, financial and taxing issues, infrastructure. The ultimate aim of these transformations is a company, managed as a common business.
Moreover, for discussion were suggested projects of industrial diversification, where the orienting point was focused on the objects compared to NPP Units in their scale and complexity. Particularly, were considered the variants of collaboration with the oil and gas industry and in the area of the heat energy. It is planned to approve the strategy of the integrated company in May 2013.
The subject “Steady development of JSC NIAEP” was represented by report of Dmitry Vysotsky, Head of JSC NIAEP strategy management, entitled “Agenda definition for the integrated company JSC NIAEP- JSC ASE in the area of steady development”. Steady development suggests a system of consistent and interrelated activities in socioeconomic and ecological areas which assist in achieving the company's strategic aims and do not go against the principals of rational nature resources consumption, personnel potential development and orientation towards scientific and technical development.
To the reporter's mind, active participation of JSC NIAEP-ASE in industrial exhibitions and forums, implementation of social and charity programs and investments in social infrastructure are one of the key indicators in the area of steady development. The funds volume allocated by JSC NIAEP for social-related activities annually grows. In 2010 social-related costs accounted for 106 million roubles, in 2011 – 115 million roubles. In 2012 social-oriented costs exceeded 170 million roubles. It is forecasted that in 2013 the company's social-related expenditures will amount to over 190 million roubles.
In 2012 the funds allocated by the company for charity aims accounted for 84 million roubles. Substantial funds were allocated to social orthodox organization for construction and renovation of churches in Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov regions, in Lithuania and Belarus.
Charitable donations were provided to municipal establishments and social organizations of Nizhny Novgorod , Rostov , Tver , Kaliningrad regions for convention of charity events, enhancement of material and technical base, territory improvement, for culture and sports events, for veterans of war and labour and invalids.
In 2012 JSC NIAEP for the first time organized a contest of charity projects on the territory of its presence. Its grant funding exceeded 12 million roubles. Over 100 projects applied for the contest in four nominations: “Culture and sport” , “Young generation”, “Patriotic initiatives” and “Ecology”. The contest winners were called 32 projects that were implemented in Kaliningrad , Rostov , Vladimir, Tver and Nizhniy Novgorod regions.
Presently the company has initiated work over the preparation of a management concept in steady development.
Nikolay Sheshokin, Vice-President of JSC NIAEP Human Resources, in his reports “Human capital management” , “Social liability of JSC NIAEP” AND “Contribution to socioeconomic development of the regions on the company's presence territory” revealed information on the structure of the merged company JSC NIAEP-ASE and personnel potential. Particularly, he marked out that on the strength of the object number increase in 2012 an institute of projects management was established within the company. The company is collaborating with higher educational establishments over specialists' preparation to work in the company. To this end, in 2012 an academic department of JSC NIAEP “Life cycle management of complex engineering facilities” was established in Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E.Alekseev (NGTU).
Great interest of the dialogue participants aroused the report of Nikolay Sokolov , Chief specialist of the Technical department in JSC NIAEP, entitled “Nature capital management”, which underscores that the environmental policy is of paramount importance to JSC NIAEP. The immediate tasks there are provision of environmental safety and personnel and population health protection.
In discussion of the suggested subjects took part representatives of the nuclear industry ( SC Rosatom , JSC OKBM Afrikantov , National RESEARCH CENTRE Kurchatov institute), representatives of authorities on the presence territories, higher educational establishments and those of cross-regional activity “Oka”. In the course of discussions several proposals of the report contents and further company work were put forward.
Summing up the discussions, Vladimir Kats stated that due to participation of the interested parties and their remarks, the company's report will become fuller and richer.
