OREANDA-NEWS. Armen Davityan has been named president of CENTRAL PARTNERSHIP. Previous to this, he was general director for the film company’s distribution department, Central Partnership Sales House.

“Armen has worked for our company for 17 years, since the moment it was founded. He has an in-depth understanding of the industry and the company business, and has also shown himself to be a strong manager,” said ProfMedia president Olga Paskhina. “We are happy to welcome him to his new position.”

Armen Davityan graduated from the electronics department of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1995. In February 1996 he joined Central Partnership as a manager for TV sales. Having produced good results, he moved on to head of the TV sales department. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Central Partnership management and vice president for distribution. In this role, Armen has been responsible for the TV section, for new media and the DVD market, and also for international sales. Under his leadership, Armen has managed to build a diversified system of distribution and to increase company profits from selling rights. In October 2012 he was named general director of Central Partnership Sales House, the distribution department of Central Partnership. Since December 2012 he has been acting president of the Central Partnership film company.
