Aeroflot Turns to Summer Schedule 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 March 2013 JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” will start its summer schedule valid till 26 October 2013.
At summer season 2013 Aeroflot is planning to fly to 52 countries, including 6 CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kirgizstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan). The route network of Aeroflot comprises 122 destinations (75 outside Russia) including 49 points in Europe, 12 in Asia, 8 in the USA, 6 in the Middle East and Africa.
Aeroflot network in the CIS is made up of 11 destination points: Baku, Bishkek, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Yerevan, Kiev, Minsk, Odessa, Simferopol, Tashkent, and Kharkov.
Aeroflot operates domestic flights to 36 destinations in demand: Abakan, Anapa, Astrakhan, Gelendzhik, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Magnitogorsk, Mineralnye Vody, Nizhnevartovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhnekamsk, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Perm, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Samara, Saint-Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut, Tomsk, Tyumen, Ufa, Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yakutsk.
The company will launch new regular domestic flights to Abakan (6 flights a week), Magnitogorsk (7 flights a week), Novokuznetsk (7 flights a week) and Yakutsk (6 flights a week).
Aeroflot is expanding its international network with daily flights to Thessaloniki (Greece) and 3 weekly flights to Toronto (Canada).
Traditional winter destinations to Innsbruck, Salzburg, Goa and Phuket will be changed for summer ones – to Iraklion, Dubrovnik, Split and Tivat. Also Aeroflot will renew its regular flights to Gelendjik.
In order to provide passengers with more convenient connection flights options Aeroflot will increase its flight frequency at the most popular routes from Moscow to (flights a week): Saint-Petersburg (from 98 to 105), Kaliningrad (from 28 to 35), Nizhny Novgorod (from 21 to 28), Perm (from 21 to 28), Ufa (from 21 to 28), Vladivostok (from 14 to 21), Surgut (from 7 to 14), Kiev (from 21 to 35), Donetzk (from 7 to 14), Odessa (from 7 to 14), Istanbul (from 18 to 27), Rome (from 14 to 21), Belgrade (from 7 to 14).
The company will continue to provide services on the routes opened during last winter season – to Tallinn, Miami and Tenerife.
During Summer Season 2013 Aeroflot will increase the number of destinations where our new Boeing 777-300ER is providing services. Brand-new aircraft in three class combination (Business, Premium Economy and Economy) will start flying to Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk and Petropavlosk-Kamchatskiy.
This summer Aeroflot cargo planes will carry their cargo to 7 destinations (Hong Kong, Narita, Beijing, Seoul, Hahn, Helsinki, and Shanghai).
Aeroflot network will be strengthened by 113 destinations on which aircraft of Aeroflot Group subsidiary companies (Rossiya airlines, Donavia, Vladivostok Air and ORENAIR) will be used. On 82 destinations Aeroflot is planning to provide services using code sharing (Free Sale).
During Summer Season 2013 Aeroflot together with its subsidiary companies and code sharing partners will fly to 317 destinations points in 61 countries. And together with its SkyTeam partners Aeroflot will provide services to more than 1000 destinations in almost 200 countries.
